What's Unique at Vanderbilt University

An essential feature of Vanderbilt University is the Vanderbilt Medical Center (VUMC), the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the area. VUMC has a variety of units including Vanderbilt University Hospital, Monroe Carell, Jr., Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, Vanderbilt Clinic, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
