What's Unique at Schiller International University

Founded in 1964 by Dr. Walter Leibrecht, Schiller International University was initially a private American University. Dr. Leibrecht, a philosophy professor, was so impressed with the school that he sought to create something similar in Europe. This initiative eventually became Schiller International University, named after German writer and human rights advocate Friedrich Schiller. The school has more than 20,000 alumni from more than 100 countries.
