Online Learning Programs at Saint Leo University
Saint Leo University's Center for Online Learning was founded in 1998, and since then, more than 5,000 students have graduated from the center's programs. All Cener for Online Learning students receive the same educational degrees as campus-based students, but they never need to travel to campus. Students have access to an online tutoring service called "Smarthinking" 24 hours a day every day.
At Saint Leo University, programs are offered in each of the school’s 6 semesters so there is little waiting to begin a program. Online degree programs are available in areas of study such as business administration, criminal justice, psychology, accounting, and science. Options students can choose from include an online master's in teaching and an online master's in criminal justice.
The university has many students enrolled from the U.S. military. Those in the military may qualify for financial aid.
What's Unique at Saint Leo University
Since 2008, SLU has had a Second Life Virtual Campus, a place where all students, staff, faculty, parents, and friends explore, and interact. The virtual campus is a place where students can meet other studets, socialize, participate in individual and group activities, and create and trade virtual items and services.
