About Post University

Located in Waterbury, Connecticut on a 58- acre campus and founded in 1890, Post University is a small New England college sandwiched between the cities of Boston and New York. Post offers 17 undergraduate programs in everything from accounting to sports management to early childhood education. It also offers 3 graduate programs in addition to its online programs. Post University offers a traditional university program for adults who want to fast track called the evening and weekend programs. These part-time programs allow students to continue working and family life while earning degrees and certificates.

Online Learning Programs at Post University

Post University is the largest educational provider of distance learning programs in Connecticut. Students can earn an accredited degree or certificate on their own timetables. There are eight online master's degrees available including a master's in human services, 16 online undergraduate courses available, and eight professional online certificates to choose from.

In 2009, for the third year running, Post University was ranked in the top 20 online education providers in America, according to the Online Education Database (OED), a national resource for online degree programs. The OED marked Post University 18th nationally and in the top 10 for providing student financial aid.

What's Unique at Post University

The Post University online MBA program won a Connecticut Quality Improvement Award (CQIA) Silver Innovation Prize. The CQIA Innovation Prize is awarded to organizations in Connecticut that have, within the last five years, established a new product, service, or process and provided the numbers to prove its benefits to its client base.
