Online Learning Programs at Eastern Kentucky University

During 2007-08, more than 600 courses were delivered online by EKU. EKU offers a variety of distance education programs. For example, the school offers more than 60 academic Interactive TV (ITV) courses each semester. A statewide network uses compressed video or two-way videoconferencing to link Kentucky's eight state universities, local community colleges, EKU regional campuses and centers, public schools, and state agencies. This technology is used for noncredit courses, other trainings, and workforce education. The school also offers internet courses for on-campus and off-campus students.
