Online Learning Programs at Boston Architectural College

BAC's Sustainable Design courses are available fully online, in partnership with BuildingGreen. The online format is designed for students who need flexibility and for those who are interested in integrated design, technical expertise in green building, or a general understanding of the sustainable design movement. Participants can log in at their convenience from any location with Internet access. Courses are 8 weeks long, and the primary method of communication is e-mail.

What's Unique at Boston Architectural College

A unique characteristic of the BAC is its concurrent learning model that offers experiential practice in the field as well as academic learning in the classroom. Students earn credits working at more than 300 design firms during the day and then attend classes in the evening (usually two to three nights a week). This educational experience allows students to put into practice what they learn in the classroom in real time, so they can test for licensure as soon as they graduate.
