Photoshop Elements includes Adobe's award-winning layers, and you'll learn how to make the most of them by combining images with layers and synchronizing artwork, frames, and images to increase your options for flexibility even after your work is finished. You'll also explore the ways you can combine layered work with Elements 8 new tabbed windows feature—a great tool for multi-image work.

With a variety of options for sharing your images such as Flipbooks, slide shows, and collages, Photoshop Elements will be your first choice for image editing. You'll see how and when to use raw images, as well as how to use JPEGs for outstanding prints and projects and how to use the new Recompose tool to size and edit images just the way you want them.

Instructor Bio: Beverly Schulz

Beverly Schulz is a freelance photographer and a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography's Professional Photographer's program. She teaches a number of classes in digital photography and has more than 25 years of classroom instruction experience. Her writing and photography have been published in a number of magazines. She has traveled extensively and participated in onsite photography workshops as well as independent photo quests. In addition to teaching and photographic work, she provides consulting services for digital photographers and clients.
